The Smart & Sustainable Transportation Lab (SSTL) is dedicated to advancing research and developing innovative solutions for modern mobility challenges. Led by Prof. Bobin Wang, our work focuses on the intersection of transportation engineering, artificial intelligence, and sustainable urban planning.

Prof. Bobin Wang

Principal Investigator, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Université Laval.
Prof. Wang holds a Ph.D. in Traffic and Transportation Planning and Management. Her research focuses on travel behavior analysis, transportation and climate change, transportation network analysis, the interaction of AI and decision-making theories, and econometric and statistical modelling.
She has extensive research and work experience across China, Europe, and North America, with more than 50 publications and 2 monographs in leading transportation journals. She is the principal investigator of several national and provincial projects in Canada supported by NSERC and FRQNT. Her future research will focus on climate change, smart cities, and intelligent transportation systems.
